Australian Council for Adult Literacy Inc (ACAL) was established in 1977 to promote issues regarding adult English language, adult literacy and numeracy policy and practice.
Language Literacy and Numeracy Program
The Language, Literacy and Numeracy Programme aims to provide training which assists unemployed people to make a real improvement in their Language, Literacy and numeracy skills, thereby increasing their chances of obtaining sustainable employment or undertaking further education and training and improving their daily lives
