Dear EE-Oz Stakeholders,
This program represents a significant investment by the Commonwealth Government towards increasing the productivity of organisations and it is important that organisations within the EE Oz constituency have access to the program. See Minister's Press Release of 5 November 2009
On 29 March 2010 the Deputy Prime Minster announced that there had been a very positive response from industry and the initial funding had been oversubscribed. In response in the Commonwealth Government doubled the allocation of funds from the original amount of $25 million to $50 million.
The first round closed in late January 2010 EE-Oz submitted 19 applications, all of which were successful albeit for slightly reduced amounts. We are anticipating that this funding assistance will be passed on to the first of the successful organisations during May
A Second Round
The oversubscription means that there are very limited funds for a second round however there are very limited funds available. Organisations wishing to apply for the second round should do so ASAP, the second applications should be with EE-OZ no later than 12 May.
