EE-Oz Training Standards Annual Conference 2011 The 2011 EE-Oz Annual Conference focused on the challenges of synchronizing the vocational education and training and National Regulatory Systems.
North Queensland was specifically chosen by EE-Oz Training Standards in an effort to encourage tourism and support through their recent disasters of floods and Cyclone Yasi.
Delegates that participated in the national conference for their industries, joined with other delegates from enterprise industry associations to benefit from a range of international and Australian speakers.
In response to stakeholder feedback, three Industry-specific forums under the EE-oz coverage – one for the Electrotechnology sector, the ESI sector and the Gas sector; were held to bring together technical experts, training experts, employee and employer representatives, Government representatives, regulators, industry training advisory boards and EE-oz staff to discuss Industry-specific issues that cannot be adequately covered in a generic conference format. The sector forums and National Training Advisory Group (NTAG) meetings were held in conjunction with the conference.
